If you knew me, you would know that I dont talk very much at all unless Im either talking with good friends or bullshitting with peeps. The most talking i do, happens on NS, haha.
And in reality, there is enough shit going on in my own country and my own life to try and delve into some other countries politics. I agree knowledge is great, but I want my knowledge to be focused and clear. I dont have room in my head to store a bunch of knowledge that is useless to me (how is knowing a bunch of things about canada going to help me?). I cant move to canada because the laws are strict, so I live in the USA, thats just how it is. Compared to other countries, the US is basically the center of attention in the world. You could go anywhere in the world and people would know about things in the US, but you ask them a question about their neighboring country and they dont know shit.
And another thing, in schools these days, they dont even mention canada. Dont blame me for that, blame the US government. I def dont think this is the greatest nation on earth, but its where i live and Im going to make the most out of it. Hell, you could prob ask me alot of questions about my own country that I probably dont know. If i want to find out something im interested in finding out, ill look it up. I only have so much room in my head.
Im not saying its a bad thing, but I couldnt just pack up and move to canada. They would take one look at me and be like "pfffft" Im not saying that i want to move there, but it seems basically impossible to move up there and live forever as a US citizen. There would just be to much paperwork/costs/stresses to make it worthwhile for a US citizen to move to Canada unless you have relatives up there. They highly frown upon US people moving up there, lets just put it that way. Im sure they have good reasons, but thats the reality.
Winnipeg (I think, there was a funny scene in Canadian Bacon about it)
FUCK it was Ottawa.
Its tall and in toronto.
Ontario. Nope wrong again Alberta. Shoulda known that.
No idea.
Alberta, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Nunavat, NW Territories, Yukon Territories, British Columbia, Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Prince Edward Isand, Manitoba. I forgot about New Brunswick and had to look it up. So I would have guessed 13. Its been awhile since geography class. I used to know all the capitols as well. I loved the tests on Canada cause canada doesn't have 50 damn states.
Oh. I thought you meant the country's laws are strict or something, not the process to move. Yeah it'd be a bit of a hassle I guess. Randal, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut aren't provinces. There are 10.
it's so tough arguing with people on this site because so many people are 14 years old and just don't have the experience/knowledge to make an argument worthwhile. I've written about six responses to this thread and deleted them all before clicking reply. Oh well... more power to ya JD.
I went to university in Canada
And they taught me to wash my hands after I pissed on them,
Then I went to college in Canada,
They taught me not to piss on my hands.
If you want to learn to think go to Uni,
If you want to learn to do, go to college.
I can say this, I've done both..
Oh yeah, Canada Rocks.. July 1 is my favourite day of the year, but I've had great times in both Vermont and Washington state over the years and they are awesome too.
Neither one is better, personally...
1.Ottawa
2.tallest freestanding building
3.We dont have a president, its a prime minister and his name is Harper
4. 10 provinces and 3 territories:N-F, N-S, PEI, N-B, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, B-C. Territories include Yukon, north west territories and Nunavut
I loved number 3 because most people dont even know.
The answer to #3 is that Edmonton is in the province of biggest fucking pile of whining cocksmokers in the history of the world. Shut the fuck up! It was a good trade! Be happy!
What the hell, do you really have to, for lack of a better word, brag about how canada is better then the us? get a god dam life, I know I need one but if I had one then who'd defend the us from all these dickheads on ns? sigh..
BC is a sick place and everyone is super chill and laid back. I dont know about the Eastern part of the country but thats were the French Canadians are.
Did you know that they originally wanted to name Canada "CND" but when they told everyone the name it came out as C eh? N eh? D eh? and thus we have Canada.
