They changed our senior project so it's not as much work, but it's still pretty lame. We have to do a presentation on our plans for the next two years including what it'll cost and how we're going to pay for it, a paper on our high school experience and what we learned and how we grew as a person, a portfolio of work we've done through out high school, and 10 hours of community service.
It's not so bad, i'm just lazy. I don't like that it's a graduation requirement to do it though. I think it's stupid that you could be a good student all through school and then fuck up on one project and not graduate. My school actually failed one of my friends on it last year and he didn't graduate. It was sad.
Nope. Don't have to do anything like that. Just need to take the required classes and have enough credits (which I've had for over a year, I just had required classes I still needed to take.)
well you people should be loving life because in auburn, you gotta
write a 2500 word paper
and
do a project on somthing chalenging like making a ski movie...
and give a speach to a bunch of people about your project
My school used to do it but they stopped it my senior year. We had picked categories and everything and they just came in one day and was like no more project. I got lucky!
Mine was great, I kinda liked it. I followed a Neurosurgeon around and got to watch brain surgery and stuff. It was pretty cool, and it led to me getting a job in my lab.
i did my senior project with my local ski resorts park and pipe crew lastyear, we had to do community service so i just volunteered to work park and pipe....
