So I broke one of the brakes on my fks 120s trying to bend them and its not easy to get replacements. anyone know if the brakes from older look bindings would work? the heelpieces look similar.

yes, if you have an old fks heel or a look tt9 heel they work excellently. you just have to take them apart which can be a bit of a bitch.

They are. And unless you have trouble with 10 piece puzzles the only trouble you could have is putting the spring back into the heel. That can be a bitch.

thanks, I'm not worried about taking them apart, I took mine apart in about 30 seconds. the problem I had was the brake snapped in half when I was bending it. anyone know any tricks for bending the brakes? does anyone know if heating them will help?

any old look binding will work, as long as they are that style heel. they are good for other parts too.

yes. it would be a shame if you ruined those good bindings though. you should find some old ones.
