Dumbest thing ever said to you on a ski mtn

ok so this seemed like a good idea now that im laughing at what some guy said to me a few weeks ago ok....

so im in the gondola by myself cuz we take singles to get to the top faster and this is what some old guy says to me
old guy:
" so whats up with your skis they have two rounded tips"
me: "yea they are twin tips i ride in the park"
oldguy: "huh then why are they so damn long, those are the longest skiblades i have ever seen"
ok so i didnt really know what to say i tried to explain to him and not be pissed at the same time but i couldnt get any real words out of my mouth exept "wow you're a fucking retard" so if anyone asks why your skiblades are super long just tell them they are retarded and to die in a fire i guess

oh by the way they are full size twin tips not snowblades if anyone gets confused

i was riding ghe lift and right on the lift for the park and soem guy was with me and pointed in ot the park and went "look why dont they clean up thios mountain, on that trail there are trashcans and railings laying all over the place. how do they expect us to ski down that with all those things sitting in the trail." i just laughed and went yea i know rigth thats why i try and ride over top of them. he wa slike really wow thats madness

My friend had a huge goggle tan and he was throwing snowballs from the chairlifts and one guy that came to him to shout on him said as an insult:"what the fuck is that thing in your face???Is it a disease??

a couple days ago i was riding the lift with some guy who had a face mask and no goggles. he was talking to his buddy. talking about how casing the jumps doesnt hurt. i was like... dude trust me. it can hurt. he was like no way. it doesnt hurt at all. you just ride away. (we are refering to a 50 foot jump here) right then we watch someone hit the jump and case and just explode on the landing. he shut up.

haha little kids are so funny, I had this little skier dude follow me around the park and hit whatever I hit for half a day, at one point im like im hitting the wallride, you shouldnt follow me anymore, he hits it anyways and bounces off, im kinda like o shit i told you not to hit it, kid just gets up and follows me some more, man little kids are so fearless

i was going up to the halfpipe at park city and was standing in the liftline with my friend when i noticed this guy holding a snowball in his hand so i turn to my friend and say, "dude, who the fuck carries around some random ass snowball, that guy is like fucking petting it like its a cat or something." so we both laugh (the guy was seriously stroking the snowball) so anyway we get to the top of the halfpipe and i'm gettin ready to drop in and that same kid throws the snowball at me and laughs and fuckin snowboards away waving his hands as he leaves... i'm thinking what the fuck was that about? i should kill him. but i wasn't about to not ski the pipe just to chase his ass down...

some lady was pissed at me for "causing unnecessary turns" for her, because i "almost" cut her off. (meaning i didn't cut her off)

She, on rentals, told me to get some real skis (i'm on fujatives) so naturally rather than getting pissed, i stopped, let her go on, then bombed down, and made one turn, and managed to cut her off, spray her from head to toe with snow, and cause her to fall in a single turn. I was pretty proud, and grateful for the amount of snow twins kick up.

Scene:lift line: my jacket matches my ski ticket (also named pass) I say in good humor to the ski patrol...
Me:"I don't know if you can see my pass, it blends in."
Patrol:"I don't care about your pass, I just want to see your ticket."

What the hell Pass and ticket are almost the same thing. You could call them the same thing and they would have the same meaning. Jesus christ.

haha ive heard that my skis are broken and thats why they are turned up in the back.

i ve also heard circus skiier and my favorite is when im puttin on my skis and someone will be like are you putting them on backwards.

i was on the lift with this yuppie woman from the east coast and it had just snowed a foot or so, and she was like " i can't stand this snow, powder is no fun, i wish they could groom these runs". i couldn't dignify her with a response

I told a father that his daughter's din was set too  low (.75, she's 4) and he's like "yeah i know, i think i'll have to buy her new skis" me-"yeah... ok, go for it" I was tired and didn't want to bother explaining to him

Haha. I've had to take my skis on the bus too.

I was cutting school & had to get halfway across the city to meet up a couple of my buddies, & we were out to the hill for the day. I had my poles and boots at his place, but just had my bindings remounted the day before so I had to take them with. I had like 3 people tell me that I couldn't ski on the street because I might get hurt with the cars going by.

i rode up the lift with this like 30 year old dude and his 6 year old son.. and the guy was talking about how he used to "do jumps and shit." i was like uh huh, cool. then in front of his son he said "but the motherfucking ski patrol would always yell at us for being reckless, i mean who the hell cares?"

so we were in line at chairlift...and it was a good lengthy line...we are just chillin, then all of a sudden you hear this voice yell two names and here comes this mom jogging up to the chair to what must have been her two kids in line and says...


"what do you think you are doing in this line, you just started skiing 2 hours ago, this stuff is for the big kids"

and pulled them out of line, how embarrassing would that be?

i was riding switch at blue mt, and i passed this 16 year old riding a straight ski. he thought it was cool that i was going backwards. so he tried it and fell pretty hard. i guess i got a good laugh out of that.

I was skiing alone today and i rode the lift with this one fat middle aged guy who smelled funny and had the same bindings I have. So I'm on the lift with him and some other kid, and he goes "wow, our bindings are all the same." I had my music on, so I just kinda ignored him, but I'm pretty sure he talked about the bindings for the whole lift ride. Then the next time up, I happened to ride up with him again, but with a different random kid. And he says the same thing. Except this time, the other kids binding isn't the same as ours. But he still goes on for the whole lift ride about them. He also called telemarkers "hot-dogging sons of bitches."

And then one time, one of my brothers friends who snowboards a lot says to me "Dude, I thought you had trick skis."
Me: "... these are twin-tip skis, you use can use them in the park"
Him: "Oh, well their not the short little ones"
Me: "Yeah, I noticed. Doesn't mean you can't do tricks on them."

well 1/2 the gondola lifties at loon...the old one anyway...have never actaully skied or boarded thier eintire lives....yet they are lifites....and it was mid week beginning of the season when there were like 9 traisl open and 20 pep on the mountian. i was in the singles line cuz i was skiing alone and i got in a fight witht he old guy about counting to 4 cuz i went ot get on with 3 pep and he started yelling at me and i like had to count out loud for him and point for him to get it through his head and then he made omse comment about his job not being easy blah blah. really tho how hard is it to count to 4? and on a slow day when thre is no line mid week who the hell gives a fuck?

this wasnt said but it was wicked funny....me and some freinds were hittin up this box and a bunch of lil gaper kids come in...must have been about 7 years old and about 8 of them...and they all go straight over the box in a train...the first one falls...then teh second one falls on him and they all pile up....not one of them stopped and thought o maybe i shouldnt go...then it took them abou 10 min to untagle form each other....it was classic!

i had my tuneups on pretty loud and was listening to some pretty gangster shit. some guy (around 50 y/o dad) next to me goes,
"hey what you listening too?"

he smiles the whole time and starses at me. tahnkfully i had a bandana and my eg1's on that way he couldnt see how badly i was smilling and holding in my laugh

I've got a staff pass at my hill and it says CORE in big "faunt" on it. I've had at least a dozen people ask me what type of pass it is, I just keep tellin' them , "It means I ski 100 days or more, I'm a core rider!!"

They always seem to buy it...
