i went off a cliff, stuck the landing, hit osme crust, then my ski didnt pop off when i wanted it too and twisted my knee really bad. i was able to ski on it (that was yesterday) and its a lil swollen. but today it feels like its gonna give way on me and fall apart cuz its so weak.
has this ever happened to any of u. if so how long did it take for rehab. its not a torn mcl, its more of a stretched mcl maybe a sprain.

Go get it checked out. Physiothereapy i'd recommend. and get a brace so it doesnt feel like its goign to fall apart. Its not a fun feeling.

but as more insight, i tore my mcl earlier this year, and if you don't feel stable, like you think its going to give out, definatly go get it checked out.

well I doubt it's a bruise if he said he twisted it. I'm guessing you stretched something in there, maybee not quite tore. What do I know though I hate bio and know nothing about knees

Torn MCLs take about 6-8 weeks to completely recovery and usually don't require surgery. However, if you just stretched it, it will probably take less time. How do you know it wasn't torn? If it feels unstable, that suggests that there might be more damage in there, as stretched MCLs will be painful but not generally unstable. If it was torn, don't mess around. Let it heal or you'll be sorry later. A good knee brace can help you get going a little bit sooner but you still have to wait for it to heal.
BTW, I've done MCL, ACL, and Meniscus. Take care of it or you'll end up paying for it later.
