ive seen some kids come out of there doing some crazy shit. im thinking about saving up and doing it next season. has anyone joined the team or are currently on it? do they give good instruction? let me know
i did it back in the day...lets see, my freshman year of high school, so 4 years ago. They didnt teach me anything, but i did get to go on the jump. I think it was only nice about twice, the rest of the time it was just icey. But for 500 bones of your own money, save up and buy new skis or a camera or something. Nybora is not worth the money in my opinion. Not to hate on martin and lewis, but it is a little pricey. Granted you do get a season pass for $200 versus the retail price of $350, but if you say you are doing nybora when you buy a pass in the beginning of the season, they give you the discount anyways... so its really up to you. I did grow the balls to throw a cork 10 with the help of M&L when i was in it, but they didnt teach me anything.
dude ive been on it for 3 years. i didnt do it this year cause i didnt have enough money...
its not really worth is unless u love jumps. its too overpriced
Amen to that brotha. Riding with a good crew makes you push yourself harder on a daily basis. By far the BEST way learn more tricks faster.
On a daily basis, dont be afraid to ask the kid whos throwing down how to do a certain trick. If they can do it, theyll most likely explain to how its done to you, and help you for a little bit.
I agree with cody its a blast, and i've done it for 3 years now, but i dont have the cash so i think i'm not doin it next year, just do the comps if you want to hit the jump.
thats pretty much wat happened to me. i got to meet tons and tons of new people thru nybora. everyone i ride with pretty much i met someway thru nybora. it helps a ton if you want to meet new people.
