at sugarbush, its a freeride comp where they judge ur line, style and speed down the castlerock liftline and if u dont make it down in under 3 min ur dsq.

i didnt see to much trickage this year, I came in third and all i did was ride. last year however a guy backflipped a rock at the start of the run, that was some crazy shit. it all depends on the conditions, last year we had 2 feet of fresh snow, this year it was basically a bump contest with cliffs.

yeah, its big mountain in the east. I wish we could get more extreme freeskiing events eastern style. Maybe an eastern series or seomthing, I can think of plenty of places that you could have them. Mt. Mansfield could def host one, tuckerman ravine, castlerock, jay peak, I think it would be sick to see some eastern freeskiers step it up in competition in eastern woods and stuff.
