A little off topic, but has anyone seen the Marker Duke? I am not a fan of Marker, but I was looking through our shop's Marker book for next year, and they have the Duke...Beefy looking AT binding, I believe with a DIN of 6-16, and one called the Jester(which is the Alpine version of the Duke), and they both look like they used some of the tech from the Reactor. Promising perhaps?

I heard the new markers are going to be sick! They do look like line bindings but i was told they took no technology from it. I dont know if that is true or not. That is just what i was told. I think they are suppose to be bombproof. It looked like they were all metal construction. The other thing was that it has a wider screw pattern than any other binding. I think the patterns are 63mm wide on most bindings and these are 80mm.

Here's the Duke, 6-16 DIN, touring capability, supposed to me really nice:

You can see the Jester here, it's mounted on the last ski on the right (Volkl Bridge), basically the Alpine only version of the Duke. Notice the Toe Piece on both...looks alot like the Reactor.

i dont know why everyone is saying the jesters/dukes look like the reactors. they look like any AT binding created in the past 2 years. and the toe piece of the reactor was integrated into the base plate which used pivogy technology. which meant, when you turned the toe piece the heel would turn and vice versa. therefore making the reactor a really really really good idea on paper, but the way it was constructed was really poor. but anyway, the jester/duke looks like an AT binding not the reactor

Only the Jester isn't an AT binding, it's Alpine only. And I know how the Reactor worked, but the with K2 buying LINE and also owning Marker, it's interesting that the toe piece looks so much like the Reactor, that's all.
