Practice practice practice.
Keep your head up. If you can do sw3, just think of a sw5 as an overspin on the 3. Dont grab untill you have mastered it.

practice for sure. A big problem 99% of people have with switch is setting too early off the jump. Just makes it sketchy in the air, not much height, just overall not good. But ya practice practice practice

I spin left, and i stagar my feet so that my left foot is farther down hill. And i have a wide stance when i take off... that might help

if u spin left ur left foot should be in front of ur right foot when u take off, and for me making sure my knees are bent helps a lot, although i've never hit big jumps switch

More practice. Also, make sure you don't throw your spin till you hit the lip. If you throw early you'll hang up. Many people lean too far forward while riding switch and that also messes them up. Instead of leaning forward, bend your knees and look under or around your shoulder. Finally, for going big, work up to it. Gradually go bigger till you feel confident going to the next step.

ski backwards more to jump backwards more. make it so the speed you jump at is half of your max switch speed both ways
All times are Eastern (-5)
