yah this boarder went off the kicker and just bought it-- total backbreaker, landed on his ass. he was somewhat of an ass too -- no helmet and he didn't speed check it. i feel for him, but he was trying to be all showy and he bought it bad. he doesn't deserve a spinal for that though, so i hope the boarder kid is alright.
anyway so two sweet newskoolers close the jump up (whoever did that-- thanks guys), crossing the poles. so I'm down there with the patroller who just arrived (as I've got first aid) & I hear a few blokes screaming -- some other ass decided to hit the table beside the jump and barely missed us at the bottom. so a bunch of us chewed him out.
so i head down to the chair, situation under control, right?
nope -- on the way up, there is now yet another sled -- apparently some other ass thought it ok to take the table despite the jump being closed, and did a big flail in the air upon seeing the stretcher-crowded landing, and bit it bad enough to get carted out.
then it happened, yes, AGAIN.
triage à trio ...
three stretchers from one accident.
it's like rubbernecking syndrome on skis..
i just couldn't believe how incredibly dumb some of these people were.
