How deep?????

how deep does the pow have to be in order to float? will 7 inches suffice? 12? were getting a monster blizzard right now and just needed some input.

it depends, but dude you can float a little bit in six inches. with a foot or more us michiganders are just happy to have new snow, and you can float for what feels like alot.

it takes about 8 to 10 to really float on top of it, but if your going fast enough than 5 or 6 could do it

also, if you have fat skis it is much easier to float, without fats you need to be going as fast as you can pretty much (not that fast anyway because of the powder)

any ski will float to a certain degree. That's what they are. Big skis definatly keep you ontop.

not really. im on scratch fs's and you gotta carry some speed and have your wait forward to get floating.

i have the fs's too and they prolyl arent thebest pow skis since there so skinny i havent skiied them in pow tho
