Difference Between Line Invaders and Anthems?

Whats the difference between the two?
I know that the anthem is a bit heavier, but how much heavier?
Does the anthem delam easily or is it a more durable ski than the invader?
If so, how fast would it delam if im skiing 90% park hitting jibbs/ kickers?
Which would you recommend?
I live on the east coast so not much powder. Im 5'11' and about 155 pounds.
help would be appreciated.thanks.

biggest difference is you can buy the Invader, and you can't buy the Anthem. Next biggest difference is the width and graphics. They were designed to be similar skis, but different widths. Anthems are so sick...

yeh you wont be able to get the anthem unless you wait for the 08 stuff, but width + flex is the differences,

line was sued in late 06 and all the anthems were taken off trhe market before they were shipped. you gotta wait till next years if ya wanna buy em. and there the exact same as invaders except a bit wider. if your doin mostly park just get invaders. same durablility and flex just a bit narrower then anthems

i thought the anthems are 93 at the waist?, and how much are they gonna cost new next year? Just wondering if I should get them instead of the blends, 60/40 all mtn./park

the anthems were supposed to cost $350 so I doubt line would change that. they are 93 waist too. blends wouldn't even really be comparable to the anthems, the anthems are soft as hell and the blends are stiff. the anthems are pretty much a dedicated park ski while blends are all mountain, since you ski all mountain more than park the blends would pry be better for ya.

If you're gonna ski 60/40 park I'd go with Blends. I own both.. so I can talk here. But it just depends on what flex you like. I like soft skis, but my blends are still dope as hell. My anthems are fun too.. however they aren't great for steep/choppy/pow. Blends just kill it everywhere.
As everyone has mentioned.. anthems are stiffer than invaders.. but not too noticeably.. I had invaders this year too. They definitely feel more stable though.. attributed to the extra width of course.
One thing to note is that both invaders and anthems will come with a carbon ollie band next year.. it may change the flex ever so slightly.. but look for some added pop.

They are thin strips down the center of the ski, I think right on top of the core. They add a tiny bit of stiffness and some nice springy pop.

Invader is 83 under foot
Anthem is 93 under foot
they both have the butta flex zone which is sick
if it were me i would go anthem, in the case you do have some pow you will float a little more

The invader is going to be jibbier and have better swingweight to it, while the anthem is going to be fatter, better all mountain, and be a lot more solid in landings and transitions off jumps.
