yes I am coming the 2nd and leaving the 12th march, for a third time. so if anyone wants to show me some spots, ski with me, etc. I will not refuse. I know a fat chick and my gf's familly that are going simultaneously, but I will not ski with them, I dont want to waste my precious time. Dont be skeptical, I wont waste your time either, unless you are seth morrison or something. I will mainly ski cottonwood canyon alta, brighton, etc. the alta-solitude backcountry if the snow is mediocre, maybe some hiking too. maybe the other moutains like snowbasin and such too if they have snow or something and pc if there is no snow at all
wow this is very inteligent of you my non friend. and yes there is some non-local that know how to ski for your information. just like I saw great local skiers too lazy to do a 5 min traverse to get powder and ski under the overtracked lift.
I am espescially looking for someone willing to go session the backcountry kickers in the bc between alta and brighton. because I am positive my gf or anybody I know would be willing to just go there and see me jump. and going there alone is way to sketchy. I have an avalanche beeper, a probe and everything. if everybody on here is to territorial and not willing to show me any spots well fuck you all and I'll go wait at the gates at brighton for some snowboarders to show me the way. last year, they were pretty stoked that I was gonna hit the kicker that they took 4 days building and couldnt get enough speed to clear on snowboards. or maybe grizzly gulch? is there sick features apart from chads and stuff? I didnt have the chance to go but wouldnt turn down an opportunity.
haha no one is gonna show you around their secret places. i have my favorites at PC canyons the bird brighton and alta that i would never ever take someone like you. the only way you can know how to ski like a local, is if you are a local. doesnt matter if your from mammoth big sky colorado jackson or salt lake, they can all ski.
skiing BC anywhere right now is a really stupid idea, unless ur trying to get urself killed. there have been soo many avalanches right now bc of all the late snow we're getting, so u should probably scratch that idea.
yeah half of alta and snowbird arent even open becuase of avalanche dangers. plus theres another 1 to 2 feet comeing tonight. and then another storm on thursday. alta pretty much is backcounry skiing thats lift accessable anyways.
so small resume: went bc skiing with some locals...SICK lots of snow, but less than my two previous times. went to park city...tried the huge motherfucking jump and killed myself...so much backseat. landed a back off a 30 foot cliff and did many cliffs overall. Saw the first chick ever that I qualify as better than me. did a backflip of a 50 foot cliff...and was hanging out with some other crazy skiers, one strangely looking like tanner hall, so maybe she was just a pro. nevertheless, she was crazy...as well as finding three chutes at alta very easely accessible and always untracked...find it at noon and untracked, almost right under the lift...was sweet. so yeah, if I have the money, Ill come back next year, maybe go to jackson hole tho.
let me get this straight. you cant stomp a table, but you can backflip a 30? yea right. theres this thing called progression. LEARN IT BEFORE YOU MAKE STUFF UP
