dude once at smuggs we had a pond skim and it was a pretty sweet setup sicne it was pond skim, jump, then rest of the pond to skim...so cool as i was i tried a 180 of that lil jump...turns out its super hard to land switch nevermind ride switch in the water so i didnt quite make that one... then another kid, lil jon, just ruined himself attempting a backflip of this little 2 foot kicker into the pond, one of the most brutal/funniest things ive seen in my life...good times

we had a pond skim this year and there was a little kicker at the end, and there were some people that stuck some backs and then there were some people who got absolutely destroyed...it was an amusing time for sure.....


If you ever catch on fire, don't look in the mirror, cause I bet that would really throw you into a panic!

Pond skims are alot of fun.

It's different, you gotta waterski it - lean back and check your skis. The weight and width of your skis can make it much easier.

My friend won it, he got a 3 day rafting trip.
We stripped down, he went in his whitey-tighteys and I had boxers. They set up a little kicker at the end. You could spin off it.

That water is COLD. I decked it a few times.
This last year at our pond skim it was snowing.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

they are so easy to do!! pond skims are really fun though, i did them at a basin this year, good times

I did one two years ago, but i'm sure it was nothing compared to elsewhere. My local mt has one every year, it's pretty cool. Leaning back is all there is to it, that and not turning while in the water. A friend and I busted out the bikinis the first time we ever did it and luckily made it across. but yeah, it is like waterskiing.

I did one up at calabogus this year.. it was difficult on theres though because they had almost like a jump into it so if you went to fast you got wrecked, and if you went to slow you wouldn't make it to the end. I was like 2 feet from the end..

we had one of those and i tried to go 1 ski into it and lost control and fell into the water, it sucked bad and i was cold.

Some people were really chucking some snowballs hard. I have yet to see anyone do it switch.
Its actually better when people fall.
The pond skim at the top of the park in june was awesome, Merky water but awesome made it more interesting.
