Heather Canyon Lift

For those of you that aren't parkrats I am wondering if anyone knows when Meadows might open the Heather Canyon Lift. If not can you still ski all of the bowls without having to hike when it isn't open. Thanks.

the lift opens as often as it can weather permitting, which is usually both days saturday and sunday, im not sure about how it is on the weekdays. and when the lift is shut down, i would highly advise not skiing it. when it's not open, it means it's not safe and they havn't finished avalanche control.

I'll give you a hint: you can still legally hit up the backside, you just have to hike out when your done. Definitely worth it though, I've been hitting that up all week.
