So me and my buddies are headin down to cancun for spring break. We are staying in the oasis cancun resort. I hear that cancun is pretty ridiculous at break and this resort is especially party crazy. Have you guys ever stayed at this resort, and what are some good places to hit up in town!? And!! WHO ELSE IS GOING TO CANCUN i'm going march 11- march 18
cancun sucks ass, so many people theres no space on the beach, its just a gross, fake place. there are plenty of better places to get drunk and laid.
instead of blowing your money on a week of drinking in cancun you could rent a house with friends at any of the hundreds of sick surfing/fishing towns in Mexico for a week.
Trust me. renting a house with friends for a week is great. surf all day, get hammered at night and smoke some cheap mexican mota and chill on the beach. buy snapper from the fishermen when they pull it in in the morning and grill it up for lunch. the entire pacific coast of Mexico is pretty much paradise as far as im concerned. you can find pretty good deals on houses too.
nah that ain't true. my fam took the bus all the way to the end of the line. which was shack town. the looks on the bus were awesome. what set us off on our journey from a first world dream land to a third world country was because my dad wanted to go to costco. we cabbed it back.
i stayed at the oasis playa, and went to the oasis cancun for a day, and that is definitley the place where all the kids go. even if you stay at another resort you can still go to other ones if you get a pass because they are all pretty much owned by the same company. i didn't really enjoy the food that much. don't expect to be eating tacos and nachos whenever you want. its a whole different mexican menu that we north americans aren't used to.
