does anyone know if these will hold up in the park? i need some bindings to last for the rest of the season (last ones broke) and those are all i have to work with.
those are horendous bindings. thats like a intermediate package binding. they are cheap as fuck, and i garentee you they will not hold you in. do not wast your time. sell them for like 40 bucks, and snag some used p10/12s, or 912s
markers are SHIT peaces of shit!! there breaks blow! my friends has a pair and hes on his 6th or 7th break! you have a underwhear tree at your resort, we have a rileys breaks tree at my resort! enought said?
do NOT get these. as you can see be all the above posts, they are garbage for park skiing...and yes ^ they are like a junior binding. they're all plastic and won't withstand shit in the park or jumping. it's a waste of money man, cop some ...
DON'T BUY MARKERS!!!!! in my personal opinion salomons are the best way to go or maybe looks but they are not as good with out the pivot. I have had markers and the past though and always broke brakes and they always released when the shouldnt have.
Unless you weigh 50 pounds and have never skiied go with a higher end binding. I've got marker 18 dins and 20 dins they've never come off, and they haven't needed too.
Whatever you do DO NOT GET LOOK BINDINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a pair of PX12s last year, they came off so many times at the most random times. One day I did 3 360s in a row, landed completly perfect except for the ski that randomly got left on the landing. This year I got the PX14s thinking that would solve the problem. Hell no. I fell so many times needlessly. My ass was in so much pain I almost cried driving home one day cause I had to sit on it. I was also wearing hip pads so it took many falls for it to get to that point.
But to give some credit to look the PX 18's are great bindings. I used my coaches skis with those on them a lot in competitions cause I couldn't use mine cause they'd fall off. I don't have any problems now though on my markers
something is messed up. most likely its your boot sole, and its worn way out. if not, the forward pressure is off. either way, please dont let that single bad expierence ruin them. looks have excellent retention. while im not a fan of the PXs (or reasons other than retention), it still holds much better than anything else. but mu guess is your boots are shot, and thats the reason they werent staying on.
