If your old skis are beat to hell, you replace them. What's so difficult about that? Also, if a ski seems to work well and there is no need to engage in a total redesign, why would a ski company bother? It's not like skis become obsolete or anything.

well u may or may not play lacrosse... but the same things happening... everything is relatively becoming the same product.... truly i dont think its happened with skiing yet... dimensions, softness/stiffness, and what not... haha tho i guess the flashy salomon verse the laidback line company, i have no clue, but buying new skis can bring new skiing sometimes, its all opinion!
