mt baker in 1998 had some 1100 inches (not bsing) they had to dig trenches, like you guys said, so that the lifts could go up. The surrounding area got 6 feet of snow too in the lowlands and seattle basically shut down for like 2 weeks.
this year we are at 197 at the top of the mountain, 187 at the bottom
seriously thats not realistic. think about it. 2 feet an hour, thats 2.5 inches a minute, consistantly over a 12 hour period. 2 inches an hour is uncommon, let alone 2.5 in a minute. that would pretty much mean that every house would collapse within two or three hours, and everyone would die. maybe not that extreme, but it makes no sense.
