Yes, I know this is an issue that has been brought up before but why is it such a big deal i see skiers giving other skiers shit because they dont use poles it doesnt even make a difference in the park. tell me who plants there poles while going up to a jump. and since we are a community why cant we just say ok if he/she doesnt want to use poles thats ok or if he/she wants to use poles that fine with me?

but seriously theres no reason to give other ppl shit for it. if they dont want to use any thats there descision but i personally hate the feeling i feel naked and i have bothing to push on the ground with when in the lift line or in some other situations.

i dont think that it realy makes that much oif a difference but, skiing without just feels weird if ur used to skiing with poles, and id asume it would be the same the other way

No poles is dope as long as you can make it look good. I tried it a few times, it's fun but I'd never do it outside my local hill because I look like a joke. First rail no poles was the most sketchy feeling I had in months, I felt really unbalanced

yea when i ski with no poles i have major rollen down the window problems there is no reason to give other people shit for not using poles. And if u do give them shit you are just jelous of their mad skills

No poles is fun when just going down groomers draggin hands and stuff, It looks a little goofy, but when you are a mountain all day, you get bored of just the same stuff so sometimes you switch it up and ditch the poles for a while. It just feels different, and its cool sometimes.

Skiing powder without poles I could see as being lame, but I"m not going to hate on anyone for doing it, just leave them behind.

You shouldnt hate on someone for doing something different, think about the first people to start doing freestyle skiing, it was something different and some people saw it lame.

Stop being a hypocrite.

In parks it doesn't matter to me, it may even look better without poles. But if you come to carve and do powder without poles, you better be damn good.

I dont use poles when Im teaching kids how to ski so when Im at my local hill I might not have my poles on me and its not that much different in my opinion. Anywhere else I'd use my poles mainly because you would have to be killing it to pull off no poles and also I ski stuff other than park and groomers.

uh pep and andy pretty much showed everyone up at the xgames with no poles.
and i do better on jumps fpr sure without poles, im alot more confident and comfortable cause it feels way more natural.

yeah i really dont understand that, he could so easily do it without a wierd pole plant. it sucks cause everytime he does a cool trick the pole plant thing kinda ruins it, and its hard to ignore it.
