Im going to buy one next saturday and i dont wanna pay too much for one since im just gonna be beggining, so i was wondering if blank decks are just as good as other ones that are more expensive..

if your just starting off,a blank deck is just right man,once you learn how to ollie and have maintained a good enough balance,then get some better gear

but make sure that the blank is not oddly shaped, when i started out i once had a weird blank that fuked me over...just look for good shape, roundness and flow...

i bought a board in Quebec at DLX skateshop or something. They make their own boards. They were cheap and its good.

shop around a bit. you can get regular boards for the same price as blanks if you look.

actually man, its usually the other way, beginners pay a lot on a pro, and once they learn to skate and learn stuff about the equipment, everyone moves to riding blanks

in conclusion get a blank, you will spend half the cash and get just as good of a deck

Yea don't skip out on wheels and bearrings though. You don't wanna run soft wheels and slow as bearrings, and then have to adjust to the regular kind.

ccs has good blanks you can find set ups cheaper but i would definitely tell you to start getting ccs 'mags' if you want to start skatin
