Join us for the third year of the Pink Ribbon Jibbin Rail Jam Benefit for the fight against Breast Cancer.

Save the date. February 24, 2007 will be Fire On The Mountain and Burning Boards 3rd annual Pink Ribbon Jibbin’: a rail jam competition to benefit breast cancer awareness. The competition is open to all skiers and riders!

Last year’s competition was a huge success with people of all ages celebrating the beauty of pink, raising money for a worthy cause, and spending a night hitting one of the hottest rails out there: The Smith Limo.

For the third year in a row, Smith will be one of our major sponsors providing Cranmore Mountain’s Darkside Park with their notorious Smith Limo. Other major sponsors include Fire on the Mountain and Burning Boards of Dover, New Hampshire, K2 Ski and Snowboard, Boarding for Breast Cancer, Cranmore Mountain’s Darkside Park, Red Bull, Bern, Dekal, Giro, Dakine and many others to come.

Prizes from these sponsors include anything from new goggles to new skis and boards, so now all we need is you! With all proceeds from the event going to Boarding for Breast Cancer (a breast cancer awareness group), you will be riding for a great, and powerful cause. With a simple entry fee of 25 dollars you are in. Competitors are also urged to find sponsors to donate money to Boarding for Breast Cancer. Why not try and raise a little more money for such a great and worthy cause?

The sponsor sheet can be e-mailed to you or can be picked up at Fire On The Mountain and Burning Boards in Dover, New Hampshire. Send e-mail requests to fotmbb@comcast.net. The rider with the most donations will be awarded a great bonus prize.

All skiers and riders should show up and register at Cranmore Mountain between 1:00 and 4:00 and the event will start up at 5:00 under the lights at Cranmore’s Darkside Park, with the Smith Limo under the spot-light.

Don’t ski or ride but feel like supporting a great cause and watching some great skiing and riding? Please feel free to hang out up on the hill with us and watch your friends, family, and other amazing local skiers and riders hit the rail. Also, participate in great raffles, grab some free stuff in the lodge, and enjoy the benefits of the great sponsors on the hill.

After the competition is complete, keep the cure rocking and please stick around Cranmore Mountain to celebrate riding for a cure at the “Pink: It’s You.” After-Party! The After-Party will start up right after the competition with a great live band, and the prize ceremony for all of the competitors. Get to know some fellow riders, hang out with friends, have a drink, and enjoy the night.
