Its rediculous how many threads there are in ski gabber these days about skis getting stolen. I hope noone on this site has ever stolen skis from a mountain before. Thats literally the most dick thing anyone could do. If someone has skis at a mountain sitting on a rack, they are obviously someones, and yes my poles and skis were stolen from Mt. Snow yesterday during the Mother Hucker shit. If anyone sees any Scratch FS, 171's with Okemo, and half a 4bi9 sticker on them. Pm me or something.

we should make a forum for stolen skis.  with pictures and such, skis to watch out for.  park skis only make up like 25% of the skis at most resorts.

I'm going to invent a ski alarm, with a sweet samuel L voice saying "Dont touch these MOTHAFUCKIN SKIS, or I'll stick a MOTHAFUCKIN snake on your MOTHAFUCKIN face". And I'd have a sweet commerical like that old school car alarm w/ the viper slithering around and biting the theif.

yeah at my mountain they have a ski watch its free u just drop off ur skis and get a ticket...i never have to worry about getting them stolen

seriously then the mountain gets pissed off at you for bringing your shit inside. They need to recognize that we dont have as much money as they do from robbing us with overpriced shitty food and 60 dollar lift tickets

A ski area's profit is usually in the single digits, so there goes your overpricing arguement.  In fact, the area I work at actually loses money every day it's open.  By not locking your skis up or sitting next to a window you are taking a risk, just like parking your car unlocked with the keys in it.  Yes, it sucks that people are fucking assholes and steal skis, but we all have to understand that there are a lot of worthless people out there who only care about themselves.

What I do is put my skis next to a really nice pair of atomics or really nice skis or I put one ski in on 1 rack and my other ski on another a few yards away.

god dammit mang, i hear ya.......

I got my fucking sick ass Wookie backpack WITH my fucking video camera stolen today at my mountain.....granted it was my own fault for leaving it there open for the taking, its still fucking gay.   I've left my shit in this spot for many years and nothing ever happened until today.

ya live and ya learn....sigh...I honestly want to set up a sting operation and bring a gun.

Cost about 20$ Canadian, and fits in your pocket and everyhill I have been too has a rack for them. Now you have no excuse. I lock my skis everytime, yes it gets annoying but i still have my skis.

Best lock ever, but the resort has to have the rack, just the larger ones that have money have them, I keep a cord one as a back up, But this is the greatest lock ever so small and easy to use.

and if you get your poles stolen either a. get a racers pair, b. go to the goodwill c. hit up ski rental, borrow and never return because they steal from you anyway, or d. just steal the shittiest, most bent ones you can. or not because stealings bad.
