My youngest daughter just snowboarded for the first time on the 17th, she actuall showed alot of natural tallent. Now I have not kept up with snowboarding in YEARS, so i am going to get her a board (she just has to snowboard and not ski J/K) but my question does anyone know what a nice set up would be for her she just turned 9 , shes about 4ft 6in and is 71 Lbs. I will assume no one will ask about her ablty lol

The little girls burton boards are nice. Real stiff so she learns the right way and they come in pink too. I sell like 2 of them a day at my shop. As for bindings, any cheapy plastic setup would work for a 9 year old, its not like shes gonna break them.

you are such an asshole. Lots of us know about snowboarding as well, it's all snow sports, it's all fun. get the fuck off of this site if you can't handle it.
If you are looking for a board for a youg one, burton is definitely the way to go. A lot of time went into the design of the little kid boards. I think when you have akid that's young, you should try to make her enjoy herself as much as she can, so buy her the comfiest clothes that you can. Getting better really quickly isn't as important at that age as just simply having them enjoy themselves
keep her ripping

i burton would be good, and not to much $$$. wheni snowboarded i was about 9 and had a burton, and ithought it was the shit, she will probably love it. and bindings and boots get comfortable but cheap,as she will prolly grow out of that stuff pretty fast. buy the board alittle big, like around her nose or eyes so that she will gro into it
