i still dont understand ANY negative aspect, nore reason why they would get rid of pivot + turntable techonology

The new ones have less slop and supposedly have more consistent forward pressure.  But I still like the pivots and turntables better so I'm hoarding.

Welp to be honest , i would rather make my own binding out of a used tampon then hord ANYTHING i have been skiing more then half my life , and i just hit the ripe old age of 27, so what i can tell you is getting anything as a consumer, (not a pro) is like buying a computer, as soon as you buy it , the company has already thought of new ways to improve it , or try to, I love my look px 12 jibs , but i will wait and see

i broke my 07 fks 185's today anyway. gay. i'm pissed at least. but warranty is good. idk i think this is a more race oriented binding than it used to be because the back looks like it has mad lift

looks like i'm gonna start rockin solly soon, without turntable heels I have no reason to carry around rossi/look bricks. especially since I've gone through a pile of toe pieces this year so they aren't even that much more durable (unless you get the race toe, but I'm a fan of my vertical release thanks)

yeah this has been known for awhile to some, and i'm glad more people are finding out about it....but instead of everyone trashing the binding before they've even tried it is pretty low....specific people in this thread tend to like to pretend they know everything....why dont you give the binding a test ride before you start raping rossi on NS...the forward pressure could actualy be a benefit....not to mention the turntable heel at least in my case is hardly ever the reason i eject....the tow doesnt have wings or rotate that much. Coming out of the FKS is pretty much up and out to the side. I've found that i like the PX bindings better than the old pivots, for the simple fact i dont eject for turning or stupid reasons, like too much speed, i always had bad luck w/ the pivots, and the px seem to be more successfull at holding you in. Some of you sound like old people, whenever there is any sort of innovation or change to a product you all start shutting the ideas down and act like you never switch over to the newer improved product. Freeski1620 is right, they have been making the FKS for 30 some years...Thus they would know how to make improvements to the binding, unlike many of us idiots here on NS.

I just wish they would continue to offer this binding because it has been proven by many people for a long time. Many people (myself included) like this binding more than anything else and would not chose to switch to anything else. The pivot is where it's at. Plus these new bindings are probably much further off the ski than the oldies.
