ive got some betullas (made by birkenstock and the same as the 2 strap ones but only $30) i have had the same pair for over 1 1/2 years wear them everyday and loving them better everyday. in winter i wear ski socks too. somtimes mocks if its cold. my birkenstocks are so worn down ive had to repair them twice. there are so many stories with them. i have a relationship with my birkenstocks and could never part with them

i would go a little more general and say sandles in general rock... which is completely true, cuase there are some nice sandles that are not birkenstocks. like i have llbean and they are amazing.

Flip Flops rock my socks. I'm have a pair that used to be white that i've worn everyday for the past year. They are cheap 3$ crappy plastic and I can feel every stone under my foot cause they're so thin, but nothing is better than a shoe that is molded to your foot.

i have had two pairs. My first pair were used from my brother, and i had to throw them away in the fall because they smelled so bad. I could smell the horridness of my sandals from under my desk in classes. But my new pair are the steel grey arizonas.

they dont 'hurt' you ankles but they wont give your foot any support at all. if you roll your ankles when you walk they wont do anything to prevent that, and if you start to screw up your ankles, then you start to mess up your knees. once you've messed up your knees, you can kiss skiing and running or anything else goodbye. wear birkis cuz they have a supportave arch, escecially if you have flat feet. i have flat feet and i wear orthodics in my shoes or birkis

i live in them. i just did a hike at the beach and woods today in them but most of the day i was barefoot. i prefer to be barefoot but birks are the next best thing.
