What the minimum width of a rail.

I tried jibbing a skateboard rail from K-Mart and it sust seemed to thin or narrow. Maybe i just suck at rails but i could not stay on this little thing. I was just wondering what the minimum width of a rail should be?

no minimum. on a round handrail youre only sliding on maybe 1/8 of an inch at the most and people slide those for much longer than a shitty walmart rail. just keep practicing

i guess just keep hittin it up and youll get better. oh and you could try raising it cuz rails like that tend to be real small and you might catch on the ground
