Switch take offs/popping switch

What's the correct way to hit a jump switch? Do you want to pop as if riding forwards, i.e. once your tails are off the lip and using your tips to pop? Or, do you still pop with your tails and do it earlier than you would riding forward?
I notice that when I hit rails switch, I'm popping earlier, and using my tails. It seems to work fine for me, but is this the correct way to do it?

i do it the same way as you and it seems to work fine. i think it helps me set my spin better and get my weight shifting forward so i wont land in the backseat. idk if its the correct way to do it or not but i guess its whatever works for you man. i feel like popping with my tips would be weird though and just fuck me up.

whenever i go off a jump switch i pop and jump stright up. I dont go off of my tips.

i think youre thinking about it too much, which could hurt you. do whatever comes naturally unless its really hindering you

popping switch into a spin is way different than popping on a switch zero..try taking a tiny bit mroe speed into the jump and dont really think about popping that much..just sort of draw your legs up into your grab

when i pop switch i dont really pop i kinda just barely jump
popping switch would probaly lead to cork 0 spin to not coming out of cork

I have trouble too that when i go for switch 3's i get the 1 fine but the problem for me is keeping my head around to land the 3....any tips
