yeah its a dumb question but whenever i give my shop my info for my bindings to be set they always set my DIN too low.... they set it at a 7 when im 175 and 6'2" what should my DIN be set at?
there is like some chart that they use to determine your DIN's. So if you want them to set the DIN's to a certain level you have to ask the shop to set them at that level
Yeah. The chart takes your height, weight, ability level, and boot sole length all into account. And also age if your under 9 or over 50. If you write those things i'll figure it out for ya.
the shop generally has to set it to the chart no matter what its the law...or at least i think its like that in washington...if you want a different din you have to do it yourself. SO if you give them your correct info they should set it right
At my shop you can request higher din settings but you gotta sign it therefore voiding a liability. I'm pretty sure any shop would do it for you if you ask.
Well they can't leagally set din's higher than a certain point so probably for your age/size/ability 7 was the highest they could put it. I ride mine at 14 but I highly recomend not doing that if you have to make a thread asking where to put them I doubt you're riding at a level that you'd need them at 14. Still you'll probably want higher than 7 I"d crank em to 9 but it's hard to say without knowing how hard you ride
