Program for sequences

I just bought a mac book pro and need a good program for putting sequences together. Any recomendations?

photoshop what? cs2 or wait for cs3? or is something like elements good enough?

you can do it in cs2, hard to explain right here, just search how to do it in google, and it should tell you

Its pretty self explanatory.. cut out the dude and put it in another picture..

I don;t mean to be rude but you guys really aren't telling me much. I know how to do it, I'm looking for the program that would work best.

Really my question is should i buy a photoshop version that is higher than elements?

I'm sounding like a jerk, sorry.

i dont knwo much about elements but i know you certainly dont need to wait for cs3...basically any of the PS's (including the ones before CS's) can definitely do sequences
