You want to have a good amount of speed when you hit the jump. When you are going up the takeoff wind up a little, but not too much, and get a little low. When you are about to leave the lip, pop up and set your spin, dont throw it too hard, you pretty much want to spin at a nice constant rate the whole time that you are airborne. You should be able to spot your lending without problem. Stick it and ride away.
it is wonderful advice. there are a lot of threads on throwing 3s, and the searchbar will give you some good advise. as a newbie, you gotta learn that the searchbar is your best friend
dont listen to him about getting balls, you have to work your way up to bigger jumps....just go off like a 10-15 footer and try to keep your head and spine as coiled up as you can either left or right depending on how you spin...and if you are leaning too far back try taking off with a lower wider stance and it should help
how big is ur take off? like how long from the lip to the landing? for me like 1.5 ft my first time was like 3 ft.
once u land ur first 3. the rest are like wtf i can do a 5 today. it just feels like that
