270 off?

this is my first year freestyle skiing and i just learned to 360 and almost 540. My next thing will be to 270 off rails. I have kind of tried it before but i like only get to the backside and only end up landing backside... ?

my 1st year too and i can only do 270s off if i hit the rail switch cuz i guess it gets me going the right way. maybe u could try that

like u got frontside and blindside, if you spin left blindside is gunna be left and frontside to the right for obvious resons. for frontside 270 out i find if i kinda tilt my right ski a lil before comin off that helps a bunch to push off of the rail and for blindside on a box u can kinda get ur momentum workin for u and keep spinning but on a rail try jumpin on and keep your shoulder closed and a little behind you so you can pop and just look for your landing

For blindside, you should try to put just a little spin on, not too much, you still want to stay locked on. When you reach the end (be patient and wait for it you dont want to pop off too early) keep your momentum flowing and look uphill...LOOK UPHILL, for me this is the easiest way to do it, you cant look against your rotation. Then pop off and spin it around, looking uphill should have set you up perfectly.

make sure your rail is high enough to easily spin off.
then make sure that you get all the way to the end of the rail with good balance.

Then its easy

my problem is that i can't jump off the rail. any tips? im doing it off an about 1.5 foot high box, should that be high enough?

actually 270 out is easier on a rail than a box. i promise! do it on a normal height rail with a landing youre not scared to fall on. just get locked on andyoull have it.. its much harder to lock onto a box than a rail, which makes your momentum hurt your chances of getting a fs 270 out

its my first year riding park 2 and when i went to 270 out i pretzeled out, it just felt more natural for some reason
