but what are the major diffrences between the lizzies and beacons?
witht the extra fatness make a big difference?

i thought lizzies were only in a 172 and the SFBs are a 182 or 180something

bacons are a longer and a a little bit wider version of elizibeths. So which ever height is closest for you, that should be the one.

lizzies are skis and beacons are devices used to locate and be located when one is burried in an avalanche. i thought that was apparant.

I believe the SFBs are a bit stiffer than the Elizabeths. At least, that's what I felt when I flexed them at a shop.

these arent' your average skis though, bacons would be way to big. get lizzies and just cover them with stickers or something. or get next years if you have the dough but if you can find this years that'd make more sense.

Dude, the kid weights 120lbs, that alone should disqualify him from the Bacons. The ski is designed to be skied short anyways, and 110mm waist isn't small any way you look at it.
Go with the lizzies, you'll be happy with them. Even if you grow 3 inches and add 30 pounds, the lizzies will be a sick park ski by that time.
