Help on 270'ing a backyard hip jump?

well, we set up a pretty good hip jump in my friends backyard, to work on. We have a drop in, then a roller, and then you hit it. I rotate left, so first I tried going up and coming down switch which was easy, so Ive been trying to hit it, 270 and land going down the side backwards...if that makes since. Basically, Im only getting a bit over 180 degrees though. I carve at it and hit it angled, but still cant get the 270, so i dont come down smooth, and dont land fully switched. Any tips?

just keep looking over your shoulder until you see where you want to land

so you're trying to do switch 270? because if you're doing straight 270 you should land forward.

No, I land backwards. I approach the jump forwards, rotate to my left, first 180, so im staring back at the takeoff, then another 90 dgrees, and come down backwards, on what would be the left of the jump sttaring straight on.

The l's are the landing, the line is the takeoff. X is wher I land (switch) Damn, im skilled with this drawing thing. Hope it makes at least a little sense.

Haha, its not really worthy of pictures, its really small. Still something to practice tho. Imtrying to get bigger at quick spins of small stuff, so when I hit big kickers, ive got some time to make it smooth.
