wooooah groooss, my buddy bought a pair this year and they defiantly don't have all that leather on them, what is that like a bling model or something?
Not a big fan of solamon spaceframe after buying 1080. But if the skies will be wood core might try them again Anyways I need a new boot next year. Not sure about the leather one.
How do the new bindings compare to the z12 or 914?
I really wnat to buy solly bindings because they're so light but i heard so many z's break.
are the sth more durable??
I guess your right but Salomon as a company is going to the right direction. Sure, maybe the white and black ones look better but Salomon took the first step to changing the looks of the regular ski boot.
personally, if you think just because a snowboard boot has leather, and then bam a ski boot has leather on it mean that were copying them (the assumption im making) i think you are semi essential. Leather was discovered hundreds of years ago and are used on products globally. Unless that was the first snowboard boot made with leather and it came out last season, i really dont think you can argue this one
the leather would seriously cut down on the durability. just plain plastic boots can last people years. After possibly two years that leather would start falling apart from all the wet snow, and edges cutting them
