Replying to Mounting Point on 4frnt VCT
Yo dudes,
I am 5'11", 170 lbs, I just got a pair of 182 4frnt VCT's from last year...the red ones. I was wondering what your imput to the mounting point on them would be. I already have some park sticks, but I wan't this ski to become my powder/1 quiver ski. If I am inbounds, and I happen upon a groomer, I will ski switch about 65% of the time. If I am in the BC i only ride switch like 5% of the time, but that is cause my current skis are way to skinny. I am working on some 180's into powder, but I really like to straitline steep faces forwards and just have fun skiing powder regular. I don't want so much tail that i sink when I straitline a 50 degree powder face nor sink when I am just chillin through the powder, But I dont want it so far back that I can't do 180's into the powder. I was thinking -3 from the center line...what is your opinion...especially if you have ridden the ski.
