This is a first for me, i was doing some back country stuff on my STL's, i nailed a tree stump with the tip of my left ski and it actually broke. Right in front of the binging, all cracked and bent upwards. Bummer.
i know they are good with thier warranty. And bummer about the STL because that is the best ski out there.. good luck while you dont have them, but you will be stoked once they get back!
i dunno if i broke my invaders because there was a defect or what, but i got my ski caught under a wallride due to lack of snow and the tip split apart and now its all fucked up i dont think it should have fallen apart that easy...
maybe you just have a defect in your ski, try to warranty that shit!
they wont warrentee that you hit a tree bro and even if it wasnt your fault you cant prove it
my friend has ridden the stls for 3 years (04-05s and 06-07s)
and didnt break em but on his 04-05's he put a hole into the base of his skis that went all the way to the wood core and made his ski rediculusly flexy but he still rode it for half a year ski camp and beggening of this year
4frnt is a smaller company and can't afford to hand out skis for warranty like salomon or k2 might be able to. that's a bummer that your skis broke, but it's because you hit a stump. if you were out driving down the road and wrecked into a phone pole, ford wouldn't warranty your car. i know it's a more extreme situation, but it's the same principle.
