so my mom caught me and some of my friends when we were a little high. So today my parents and i are going to be having "The Talk". So any quick tips on what i should say? should i try to convince them it's not that bad or what?

well id say it depends on how their reaction is, if they are adamantly against it tell them ur sorry and wont do it anymore but just keep smokin on the downlow, or if they aren't that pissed just say u can keep ur shit together and will be responsable with it. good luck man

just deal with what they have to say. You WON'T convince them that pots OK if they've lived their lives thinking it's not. They're your parents and they will probably be disappointed and tell you not to smoke again. Then, it's your decision to follow their advice or to go against them, but don't bother arguing with them during your chat because it won't do anything but piss them off.

jus be straight forward, with them, if ur gonna keep smoking tell them that what i did and it wasnt sucha shock the next time the caught me. honestly if you dont fuck up all the time and do well in school use that to ur agrument, because they will say it affects ur grades n shit like, but i told them my parents i had been smoking since sophmore yr and my grades never changed. so i dunno jus dont lie

be as honest as possile. my mom found some of my stuff once and here and I talked and I told her I was curious and that I heard stuff about it and I wanted to try it, see for myself.
I later found out the stuff she took from me, well, she smoked it. and it was really good hah. I was pissed =)

when my dad found my lighter and my eyedrops and asked me what they were for, i said smoking weed. he asked me a few other questions and and i just said, "well, i'm not going to stop anyways." and he just left and that was that.
