I have no idea how long mine are, all I know is with skis on and poles touching the ground, my hands a bit over 90*, I love my poles and I could never ski with longer ones. Mine are way too short for me but I still manage to stick them in the ground when i don't want to so yea
mine are below my belt line... and funny because today some gaper thought he should make fun of my friend and I's poles and he said "why are you using such short poles", and i quickly and un-wittingly responded with "why are you using your mouth?" the benefit to my shitty comeback was that he was stunned by the stupidity and didnt respond just looked kinda mind swept. haha

my poles are 52'' and damn proud of it. i'm 6'2'' and am not a fan of short ass poles. and i really don't get the short pole thing. i mean, if you're gonna have poles that are nuts high, why have then at all? no offense, but would like some real feedback.
They are helpful in steep terrain when they are short, and they aren't as heavy or unweildly in the park. The only place I ever find I need them is in steeper terrain.
Forgot to mention, I'm usin' 130cm now, that's the ol' 90* trick, but i find them in the way when ridin' switch, so how short are people goin' and still having useful poles. i'm think drop to 120cm, some are sayin waist, when skin' the deep are they still useful?
mine are 46". my arms make like a 65 degree angle with them. there a little short, but i like it that way. prbably 48" would work better though and 50" is probably were they should be.
48" when i ski powder, i think about 36" for park. I like the short poles for park because they are cheaper if you break them, they don't hurt as much if you fall on them, and they don't get in the way as much.
