The Dent In My Head

I went tubing last week at my friends house, and we both fell off and he kneed me in the head (right above my right ear). I got a concussion, and now that it's been a week all the swelling has gone down, I realized that I've got an honest-to-god dent in my head. At first I thought it was my imagination because I knew that only toddlers' skulls were soft enough to dent, but now that I have one too, I'm wondering what happenned. Is it just the flesh on top of my skull, or what? Has this happened to anybody, and should I go to the doctor?

i got a dent last friday,my sisters hot friend was at this party..threw like a softball size rock in the air and hit me on the head.,..she kissed it alot and said i could beat her ass if i wanted to...i told her id rather bit IN her ass but she said no...rejected again...oh and yah dude..youre gonna die

very fatal,it happened to my friends uncle,he was tubing and hit the dock but he wasnt going very fast so all he got was a concussion and the dent on the top of his head,he didnt do anything about it and 3 weeks later he never woke up

there was a guy who worked the graveyard shift at subway and the whole back of his head was caved in. we called him 'the denty head guy' or just 'denty head'. he made damn good subs.

i was river rafting with all these people from my office (marketting retreat thing) and my boss hit me in the side of the head with an oar full swing. the handle made a dent in my head between my temple and ear. im still here and the dent dissapeared after like a month

Turns out the jokes weren't really jokes, I have a mofoing skull fracture, 2 inches long, right in the back of my head. If my friend had kneed me a little bit harder, I would be dead as a doornail. Holy shit. I went to the doctor this last friday, got about 5 X-rays and a CAT scan (by the way, the X-rays were super-badass, I'm gonna hang them on my wall.) Now I have to go have surgery, they're gonna open up my skull with a bonesaw, and use a drill mechanism to pull the dent out, kind of like a dent in a car door. Fairly serious shit. Also, the final thing that made me decide to go the doctor was Lateralis' story about his uncle, whether or not it was true (I figured I shouldn't take chances), so thank you Lateralis, you potentially have saved my life. If you were here in Boulder, I'd give you a big fat man-hug buddy. Everybody wish me luck on not dying when I have my brain/skull surgery.

good story 221 i truly enjoyed it.
i went to subway once and i had a meatball sandwich and the girl sittin in the wheelchair at one of the tables had a wierd shaped head that looked kinda dented.

good luck with surgery..

I had a dent in my head from where my brother threw and apple at me as hard as he could..hurt for bout a week, then went away. I hit him with my wakeboard in return a few weeks later, and covered him in a sample of this really strong perfume ansd glitter that he couldn't get off right before school.

hey I got run over while extreme snow-tubing in the backcountry.... it was summer and I ran out of snow, got launched off this guys legs... landed headfirst in the rocky dirt and scraped my forhead in an intense way, then another chick launched of the guys legs and landed on her tube on my head, which gave me a nice lump and more scrapeage. the moral = tubing sucks. haha.
