aspen was totally sketch, training went pretty good for most people there but on comp day, after the first 2 heats... it started to turn sketch... i was in the 4th heat but was watching my friend take his practice run before the 3rd heat started, i stood on the 2nd jump and just watched people nole one right after the other... the speed was totally weird but whatever, the 3rd heat went by and my heat came up... i dropped in for my run and the speed was feelin pretty good but then the shit hit the fan, a wind gust came through and killed my speed, i was already in the transition of the jump.. i was fucked, i noled out super hard (i was 10 feet behind the nole) i ended up with a compressed disk in my back by no fault of my own, it was all the wind, and on top of that, i still took my 2nd run because i think i'm indestructable and probably made it worse... anyway, thats why i'm doing this, taking a few days off and i'm bored as hell..

ouch. compressed disks are pretty painful for a small injury.
