if you dont mind being decently poor its not too bad.
im here to ski right now, not be rich so its an awesome life if your down. right now im riding as many days a week i want, and im getting a couple hundred each week (400ish a paycheck). find the cheapest accomodations possible. im currently paying 100 bucks a month rent to sleep on a couch. learn to live uncomfortably.
just make sure you dont really any many bills to speak of. ive got rent, grocery's, and weed. so its not too bad.
I'm not making hardly any money right now, so the ski life has been mostly skiing, and not enough partying. now that it's snowing in Tahoe agian the gapers will come back up and I'll be able to make a little more money. Sweet.
I lived on my parent's couch and in my tent for the majority of last year and it was awesome. Not really the most glamorous of lifestyles, but there isn't much to worry about and you (can) have a ton of free time. Just get up every morning, go ski, and work a little in between. Unfortunately now I'm attempting to actually make something of myself....we'll see how that works out here in the near future.
I would really like to just move to canada and ski all the time...but i think i've matured a bit and realised that if i want to do something with my life, i need to go to college.
i guess people have different ideas of what 'doing something with their life' is. oh and i also realised that i'm not gona be good enough to be a pro skier or even good enough to make any money out of it....so yeh, that kinda sucked
