Alright I was at bristol today and they made the jump bigger so i decided to throw some 7's n then one run i was goin n i guess iw as leanen back alot or something but i hurt my knee alot n then i was riden down and my knee just gave out it felt like it popped and i just collapsed. I can walk but it feels real week. Does anyone know what happend to me and when can i ski. I have a trip planned Next sat for a week. Any input will be nice thank you.
If it doesnt hurt to walk, then shut up about it. You probably just strained a ligament a little bit and it didnt feel that fantastic. You didnt tear anything though, else you wouldnt be able to bed your knee more than maybe 5 degrees in either direction... much less walk.

when i tore my accl is gave out also. and popped. but, never swellled up and i still skiied on it after a week. my mom made me go to the doc after 3 weeks...so just go to a doctor. sounds kindaa fucked up
that doesnt matter dude, go see a fucking doctor...if you refuse to go see a doctor, you are extremely ignorant and this injury is going to haunt you for a long time...knees are bad
im not refusen to see a doctor i just have to wait till monday cuz the trainer told me to wait n she will tell me wh at is wrong n then i will go c one if she thinks i need to
That's the swelling probably you tore something. The sooner you have it checked out by a doctor, the sooner you will be skiing again. I don't get it, why wait?
If you wait, and begin treatment in a week, it will take weeks longer to heal.
If you wait, and your MCL grows back stretched out because you didn't immobilize it, you're fucked forever.
If you wait, and the pain goes away, and never see a doctor, but ski on the scar tissue of a freshly torn MCL, and you crash, you will take out your ACL and meniscus and will be out for 9 months.
umm, you could have really ruined your knee there, i would stay off it and go to your doctor before you make it really bad. This a common way to get a wicked fucked up ACL injury, hurt it a bit, then rip it. go. to. the doctor.
alrgiht heres the deal. thursday the injury occured. Went to school trainer on fri and she coudltn not tell what it was and told me to come see her again on mon. monday rolls around and she still does not know and she think that my acl is messed up. I go to the doctor and and she said me to an orthopedic doctor the orthopedic doctor does shit wit my knee and she is not sure wat it is so she sent me to get mri's tomarow so it is all up to the mri's tomarow.
