selling my chronics because i need something with a slightly larger waist. i dont like to make new skis a huge deal on here, so i decided either scratch fs wrs or ar6. similar dimensions, ar6 an 86 waist, wrs an 84 waist. ill be skiing 60/40, mountian/park, and i like a mid-stiff flex with pop and DURABILITY is the aspect that matters most - just seeing if either ski will be a problem, and which one i should look for. thanks NS!
I dig my ar6s. top sheets arent' super durable, but aren't too weak either. bases and edges are diesel. last weekend a skied this glade at mt snow that was almost top to bottom of like 1 foot of snow with no base and I got like one light scratch. and no edge cracks yet this season!
nope. I woulda been rockin either camo pants or antifreeze links. it probably was me you saw though cuz I haven't seen many ar6s there, but what made you think I taught?
Scratch FS, especially if you like a mid-stiff flex. That just about hits the nail on the head when you're talking about the Scratches. The AR6 is a fun ski, and it's in my quiver, but it's a bit more traditional soft park ski flex.
Scratch BC? if youve got the money go with the extra width and ive heard they are sick in the park. rory used em in the park when he was still on rossi
