Ok, after the season in Winter park is over I'm going to hit up A-basin for a few days. Then I want to make use of my Intrawest pass and go to Mammoth for a bit before going to the Coachella festival near Palm Springs. Problem is I have no idea which is the best way to get around (I can't drive btw) and I also need somewhere to leave a seasons worth of accumulated stuff (including 3 pairs of skis) whilst I go to the festival. I need to fly home from Denver after the festival.
So what does everyone reckon the best way to get from CO to Mammoth is, then the best way to Coachella, and get back, with all my stuff!?
I figure my options are amtrak, greyhound, flying and hitching, if someone could just tell me the train/bus/plane stops nearest to Mammoth/coachella, it would be really helpful.
