I was wondering cause i need to buy some new pedals. I would like to get one set but i like to freeride and ride cross country. I also like to dirt jump. Is there one pedal that would work for all that or should i just get a platform pedal and a normal set of clipless pedals.

yeah, my friend has those.. When he first got them he would always wipe out cause he couldnt get his feet out. One time, we were off in the woods somewhere, andt here was a HUGE puddle in the middle of the trail (Like 20 feet long, 6 feet wide). We didnt know how deep it was, cause the water was muddy, so i rode around it but my friend went throught it. He got half way into it and the water was up to his handle bars and he couldnt get his feet out of his pedals.. He would have drowned.. but its funny now cause he didnt. Anyways, i have toe clips.

I don't know if you have seen the egg beaters, but they Crank Bros. made a new pedal. It is like an egg beater in the center of a platform pedal. Sounds like it might fit your needs. Clipless, but you can ride fin unclipped
