it would be sweet if all ski resorts gave incentives for people who create a smaller co2 "footprint" on the world...maybe it would make people change their attitudes. I think embracing the idea rather than being forced is the way to go...I heard that Sweden is almost 100% independent of oil and other fossil fuels due to the use of alternative energy that they use....how sick is that. The technology is here ie. Solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and hydroelectic energy. As outdoor enthusiasts, I think we should start an example and become more enegry efficant.
www.keepwintercool.com is another good site and shows what some resorts are doing and how some resorts do give out some incentives.
