Summer Camps??

Thinkin about going to High North Ski camp this summer how is it. How much will it help me with my tricks in general? Or whats a better alternative to paying 2g for a summer camp.. I mean you cant beat skiing in July but if your going to come back with the same skills you have it dosent seem to be worth it. Just wondering your guys and girls opinions...

Or is there any other camps that are better and what did you learn from going to the camp?????

I learned cork 3's at a camp i went to that is no longer running....
You can learn sooo much, its crazy.  You have to have some ideas of things that will be plausible to do, like set a few goals.  Say you want to learn floaty 360's or something fairly simple if you are just getting into park riding.  Just think of some tricks that you would really want to do on rails or boxes and then go to the camp and tell the coaches what you think you want to do.  Be careful not to fuck yourself up though so stay in a pretty good comfort zone but you still got to push it on shit that wont really hurt to wreck on.

I liked doing airs alot more than rails at camps, its like the best/safest time of year to get really comfortable spinning in the air. 

Also rip some steeps/moguls/bc if you can near a camp, its soo much fun and improves your skiing.

Its definately worth the money to go man, no question

camp is sick and you learn so much cause you ride with people who rip every day. plus there is always good terrain and the weather is really good.
plus, teh after ski activities are always sick too, adn you're in whistler, or mt. hood i guess

go 2 fucking widells fun on the hill and fun off... good coaching and everything the only bad thing is when u go 2 a easrly session 2 many kids and not much coaching unless u beg 4 it... late session less kids so the coaches have more time 2 coach u... i went 2 session 7 and had a fuckin bomb ass time

oh and we had a better snow year last year so we had more snow... this year is alright so u might b forced 2 go early if u chose 2 go there
