Ya, I skied last Saturday and landed switch probably 40-50 times and today my back was hurting when I was sitting in class. It's not unbearable or anything just kinda annoying, I'm assuming it will go away in a day or so but I guess I'll just try to land over my skis more. I just learned how to land switch so I don't really care if my back hurts a little, it was all worth it.

I think he meant don't lean too far back or forward. Or in backseat.

ummm it helps me if i land kinda lening forward as in up the hill and instead of collapsing when i land switch i kind of spread my legs and kinda just bend inwards. i guess it makes no sense and ill probly sound like a gaper but im just sayin how i do it.

you might be sorta landing straight down on your back which compresses your vertebrae so I would just keep stretching and try landing forward more

yea i get lower back pain randomly. can be from landing a jump and my back being at a weird spot, leaning over a sink, etc.. just will randomly spasm.
starting physical therapy this thursday to see if that fixes anything.
All times are Eastern (-5)
