does anyone know what paint, the stuff they use in terrainparks w a spray can to outline takeoffs and landings....what is it? water and what? food coloring? or what kind of dye is it?
at my mountain they just mix water with food coloring and put it in this big spraying thing and blast it on, the it feezes to that cooler, but ive seen people use spary paint other places and thats wat i used on a big booter
im pretty sure its NOT spray paint...they spray it out of a big canister that they use for water like one that you would pump and spray in front of a concrete saw.... a spray can like that. plus spray paint isnt really enviormentally friendly and most ski resorts wouldnt do something like that....
i was just wondering what it was that they mix with the water. anyone thats on a park crew might know. id just like to know cause the jumps at our hill need to be painted occasionally w flat light and id like to get em to do that.
^^ yeah in flat light or in really snowy weather or really foggy , its worst when your sking in that kind of weather at night , should be a standard thing , they only paint the jumps and my home hill for comps. and things like that.
oh, I thought you wanted to do one at your house or something. I think most resorts mix water and coloring, so it freezes when sprayed on to snow, and sinks in deeper so it doesn't get scraped off as easily
OH i thought you wanted to use something simple, easy and quick to paint your jump, thats why i said spray paint, but im pretty sure that at ski resorts they use water with food coloring
